Changes in 3.6.10 templates to 3.7?
Hi there,
Is there any documentation about the template changes between the two versions? I am using a template that has been updated to 3.6.8 and I really really really seriously have to start from scratch to get it to use tags properly and to use the Notice properly, which appear to be the only two things that are not working. Or, is it recommended that because of the major differences here, we just start over? Thanks for your help. |

Really, you need to start over ideally.
However, it has to be said that I managed not to.....in my customized templates I found it easier to edit the 3.7 changes in manually. But you need to do a template comparison to do that effectively, it can be messy. If you can, start afresh, but keep a copy of your old template changes and try to mix them in afterwards. |

Thank you. I may try that. It seems less painful than starting over.
I keep hoping "no mods" <... username will update his Tech templates because I adore everything about them. |

Most 3.6 mods will work on 3.7 with little or no tweaking.
The main think making many fail is CSRF or whatever it's called, but if you're already on 3.6.10 you should have that aspect covered. |

Yeah, mine is failing with the "Notice" function and the tags function.
I am not even sure I care enough to deal with it right now, to be honest. I did upgrade to 3.6.10, but something was wrong. I also had that error where I had to revert headerinclude to get the font color bar to work again, so it is probably something like that, in just one template somewhere. |
