Security patches with 3.6.8
I'm running vb 3.6.8. This is a stupid question but how do I know which security patches I have already installed? I don't believe I have installed any, but I would like to be sure...
Looks like there have been 2 patches? Level 1 & Level 2? Do I run both? First level 1 and then level 2? Or are they cumulative? |

Why don't you upgrade to 3.6.10, or 3.7.0?

Hi, thanks. this was just suggested to me by official vb suoport and i think i will do that.
I have a live forum running; can i just safely upgrade without disruption to the live database? |

You will need to turn off your forum before upgrading, as upgrading requires changes to the database schema.

Ok thanks. Just one more question. Do I have to customise everything again or do the settings remain the same after the upgrade has taken place?

You may have to revert your templates as there are some mandatory changes.
