Hi.

I used to be able to have links in forum descriptions until I upgraded to vB 3.7.
I am using standard HTML to link to another site in forum descriptions, but for some reason, that URL is just being added onto my forum directory's URL.

ie, I'm linking to http://www.site.com and it's turning into http://www.mysite.com/forum/http://www.site.com

How can I fix this?
Problem is at forum in my signature.

I got it. The problem was because of me, such a silly n00b I am.
I had written the forum descriptions etc in a word processor, and the output generated by the word processor for " are entirely different and aren't w3 compliant.

It's odd but I replaced the " and now everything works fine.

Use a plain text editor such as notepad when your editing HTML e.t.c.
