Uploading a custom posticon while making a thread in a news forum

Hi,,

Im working on my website and wanted to display the headlines different this time. I want to have to option, when im posting a news article, to upload a custom post icon to display in front of my headlines. This will look pretty cool on the mainpage and i wondered if such mod exist or if someone could make it for me.
