Cant save changes in style manager
Ok, just done a new install of vbulletin. Everything else appears to work, i can add forums make changes and so on. except anything in the sytle manager.
I have tried changing colour and table width etc. all things ive done before but on this install none of it will save. when i press save it takes me to a view of the forum from a users persepctive. nothing changed and then when i go back to style manager its back to the default settings. Its a new install, fresh download of the latest version and appears to only affect the style manager. i have tried wiping out the database and everything and doing it all again. still doesnt work. any ideas? --------------- Added [DATE]1209917119[/DATE] at [TIME]1209917119[/TIME] --------------- anyone any ideas please, really frustrating.thanks |

Are they stored in the file system? Try moving them out of the file system and then back in _ vboptions > Style & Language Settings > Store CSS Stylesheets as Files?

If you view the source code, is the css in there or is it just a link to a file?

I can try, but.....
Are you keeping the css as files? Cuz if so, and all that is in the clientscript/vbulletin_css folder is an index.htm file, then it sounds like you need to set the permissions for that folder to 777. Try that and then see if it works. (That is something you can only do through ftp - not through your admin cp.) |

Sorry to bump this old thread, but have exactly the same problem. We had a server crash last week and we moved to a better machine after restoring the site from a nightly backup.
The problem is that I cannot save my templates and any mod which has a large textarea field does not save, as it displays a blank page after hitting Save. Does anyone know how to solve this issue? Thanks. |
