can someone provide us a good set of rules for mod_security does not conflict with vbulletin

This depends on what people are posting - if members post security content like on Mailing Lists the rules are a little bit different from other boards.
To get your own rules you can run it in detection mode for some time collecting false positives

Can I ask you folks which version of Mod_security you are running. Do you have apache 1 or 2 installed?
