Hi, I installed Tubedogs Whos Online hack, but what I want it to do is show whos online throughout the whole site. Not just on the forums.
I realize all I would need to do is put the code into the page with the get cookie routine. Is that correct? Well, my question is what is the code to enter into a page, so that whos online in the forums sees the people on the other pages also? Thanks in advance. |

Currently i dont think u can do this.
They way that tubedogg wrote it the last time i looked at it, is such that when the script is not able to detect where on the forum they are it defaults to browsiing the boards so in your case if you put it on the whole site it will just say the default locatin. ie. Browsing board. |

Actually that wouldnt matter, because on my site all I have listed is the names of the people. Not where, they are or anything else. So that wouldnt be a problem at all.

Do you realise that there is 2 versions of who's online
1 of them only tells who's browsing the boards and the other more advanced one actually tells their location I think you can achieve what you want by require the forum's global.php on all ur website documents |

beware though
although global.php seems small now, it calls upon function.php which is around 70Kb+ added to every one of your pages to which you require the global.php. Not just the size, imagine the increase in server load. If you are not concerned about tracking their location, I dont think it is necessary anyway, Just so long as your users do not click logout and then go surf the rest of your site, their session will not have expired straight away and they would still appear in the online list. |

Also those who visit your main page before visiting your forums will receive an error if you include global.php.
