I Can't Log Out!
I'm running vb3.7 RC2 and some of my nav bar buttons don't seem to work. One of them being LOG OUT. The ones that are clickable... like New Posts, Calendar, etc... work.
Anybody else had this problem? My forum is at http://mobileroar.com/forum/ |

Sounds like you need to revert your navbar. You can always clear your cookies to logout. It's a quick fix, but it will allow you to do so so that you can go login as an Admin or whatever.

Revert my navbar as in... put everything back to the way it was?
--------------- Added [DATE]1208447014[/DATE] at [TIME]1208447014[/TIME] --------------- Hmmm yeah it looks like the SEARCH and the QUICK LINKS and some others won't drop down either. Want to get to the source of this because I finally edited the template to my liking! Any thoughts besides clearing cookies? |

Well, or go compare every link on your navbar to the same link in the default for that version of vb.
I must say that the navbar is my least favorite of all the templates to have to modify on an upgrade! |

The links are the exact same.
Moreover... the navigational links were the EXACT SAME and WORKING. I simply moved the login information from the "nav" template to the "header" template and that's when it broke. The actual navigational links are in the header template too, below the login info obviously. UGH. Sometimes vB frustrates the heck out of me. This doesn't make logical sense. --------------- Added [DATE]1208464423[/DATE] at [TIME]1208464423[/TIME] --------------- So apparently vB is getting caught of on two things: 1) The OnClick property in the Log Out link. I guess it is supposed to have a popup box ask you if you really want to log out. I removed the "OnClick" property and now I"m able to log out. BUT 2) Features that use Javascript such as the QuickLinks and the Search do NOT work. Does this help anyone help me? I'm making progress. Slowly but surely. That's how it seems to go with me and vb! |

Well, doing a quick comparison of a default login form and yours, I see you missing this line right at the beginning of the form:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.yoursite.org/forums/clientscript/vbulletin_md5.js?v=368"></script> (Also, do you realize your header doesn't line up properly? See picture) |
