Web Space for Each Member
I currently run a forum for folks who build their own airplanes at www.homebuiltairplanes.com. Because these folks have projects that span years of hard work and effort, I would like to allow each member to have a little space on the web of their own to document the process. Sort of like a blog but somewhat customizable for a unique look. I know vB has a blog, however I'm not too impressed with it. Most folks that use my site do not do HTML so anything that would require writing code is out.
Here is a similar concept that allows users to do what I want to do. I think it uses SimpleLog web blog software. Is there a better solution out there? The problem is, I just don't know the technology well enough to make a good decision. Here is a re-cap. 1. I want my users to have their own webspace to document their homebuilt aircraft projects. 2. I want each website to be unique in appearance without the need for HTLM Code. Has anyone done this on their forums or know the best way to go about it? Thanks. --------------- Added [DATE]1207990313[/DATE] at [TIME]1207990313[/TIME] --------------- Anyone out there have any idea? Is there an alternate to the standard vB blog that might work work? Thanks. |
