Question - an easy way to set up notification

Has anyone ever heard of a mod being created that would allow registered members to set keywords and be notified if those words have been uttered in the forum? Kind of like google alerts - http://www.google.com/alerts?hl=en&t=1

The ultimate, if it isn't invented yet would be PM the user who set up the keyword so even if the miss the email, they get a PM alert window.
