Running vB with multiple web servers

Hi folks,

I am interested in setting up multiple Apache web servers to handle the large numbers of users that I typically see. So for instance, IPs that end in an even number would go to server A, IPs ending in an odd number would go to server B. But I would like to know whether vBulletin can work with this.

Anybody know?

vb will work fine with multiple apache servers, just make sure they are all connecting to the same db.

How does that work? Are they locking and unlocking the tables before and after each access?

Also what about add-ons like VBA-CMPS and VBA-Links and Flashchat?
