Registered Users Passwords not working
My site got messed with from the inside by a disgruntle admin who did something to where every registered user who came to the site was logged out and when they tried to log in their password was invalid and when they requested a new one they received no email.
We reinstalled VB, but are still experiencing some issues with this. I have been having to reset passwords for 2 days. Thanks. |

OK. What do you want from us? A solution? Fire the Admin and change all the passwords to your Admin CP and any others passwords he may know. Look through your hacks and make sure he didn't add a 'back-door'.
As for the passwords, you could take a backup and manually copy/paste the password and salt (and there may be one other column, I can't remember off the top of my head) for your users, but that is probably just as tedious as resetting them from the admin cp. |

Oh he's gone and back doors shut! What I was wanting for you was maybe how and what he did and if I can reverse it.
Thanks. |

Have you looked in the Moderator Logs? Or the Control Panel logs? See what he was doing through there. That may help you.

The best thing would be to just restore an entire back up and then remove his permissions. |
