I just zap the whole install folder, you dont need it for day to day running.

I leave the index.html and mysql-schema.php files in the install folder but delete everything else.

Yes, if anyone knows they are there and wanted to be nasty they could run them and really mess things up.

"install_" is not a standard vBulletin folder. By the looks of it, it is probably a renamed install folder.
