How can you set it so only admins can run IP searches?

Control panel ---> usergroups ---> Usergroup Manager ---> (USERGROUP) ---> Can View IP Addresses (set "NO").

that is viewing IP address when the member/guest is viewing the forum, doesn't have nothing to do with searching IP's through Mod CP.
