Where would a code for alt1 and alt2 be placed?

Have you tried putting it in the footer like it says? I can't find it in my footer, so that must be for an older version of vb, but the first thing I would try is to put it in my footer.

I got them impression that you have to actually change the class in the template from "alt1" to "alt1Active". Have you tried doing that as a test? Actually, have you tried searching through the files to see if the function "activecells_init" is even defined? Since that page seems to be old, I'm wondering if they have dropped it.
