Over the years ive used various gallerys, which one do you guys feel integrates best with your forum and does exactly what it says on the tin?

PhotoPost and Photoplog are too different galleries. I've never tried PhotoPlog myself, so I cannot comment on that. PhotoPost however, is great, very flexible and has never let me down.
