Your Thoughts on My Classified Site

Hello everyone,

Please let me know what you think about my site (good and bad). The site is designed to be a one stop find a lot without the high expense.

Current features:
There's a classified section where users can post their ads (has auctions capabilities.
There's a forum section where users can have discussion on popular topics and network.
There's an area in the forum for Forum Owners to subscribe to list their forum.
There's a Daily News section
There's an Events section ( I plan to use a mod from here to connect with the calendar)

In progress:
Enabling the Auctions system fully (right now for Gigs only)
Blogs
Photo gallery of some kind
Stats for sports
Games

Anyone out there?
I know you guys aren't shy here.

The colors aren't Bright and Bold, but I wanted to keep things simple, and comfortable looking. Anything you suggest would be welcomed.

Okay, I probably will get some frowns for this, but I really would like a review of my site. I think people might have been thrown off by the title "Review My classified site".

Anyway, I'm looking for review on..Color style and Forums setup (i.e. too blah, too many categories, not enough categories, boring, nice look, cool, etc). That's it. I thought I was initially suppose to give background info, my bad.

Sorry, I figured this might happen, but I was thinking people were turned off from reviewing my site because of the title (promoting or something).

Anyway, I'll keep waiting to hear from someone....

My apologies again.

Not bad man. I think a dark background, or some other color than bright white might look nice and make the actual forum tables 'pop' a bit more.

Also, if I were you I'd look into a means to stop people from posting thread titles ============LIKE THIS!!11==========. It drives me nuts when people do that in my marketplace forums.

I've been thinking about the color scheme as well. I alter the colors a bit after midnight (less people visiting then). I don't want to go too dark because I'm trying to keep things simple looking like Craigslist, but nicer.

I hate when people add characters like that too. I'll reduce the character limit.
