The secion on the top middle are that says "Welcome to the AK's Place.

I would like to delete that and be able to have some "whats up" section in there similar to what this place has on the right side of there site.

You can take delete the guest welcome message by finding it in the FORUMHOME template

thanks that looks good but how about top center area and not on the right and left sides? will this effect site since its a fluid forum?

They are using the welcome headers mod. However, you can simply change that text by editing the phrase.

ACP --> Languages & Phrases --> Search in Phrases --> Search for Text first_visit_message (Phrase Variable Name Only) --> Edit
