i have incorporated a fixed background in a forum and it works great on a computer with a 17" widescreen, however when i tried viewing on a standard non-widescreen 15" computer the background isn't "fixed"

anyone know of any way i can address this?

note: i made the fixed background by simply adding "fixed" after the backgound image url
also the non wide screen i viewed the forum on was running XP and not Vista as was the widescreen
