Anyone tried script2please?
<a href="http://www.script2please.com" target="_blank">http://www.script2please.com</a>
Their rate is very attractive & company profile is impressive, however, I would like to know if anybody used them personally especially for vBulletin. If so, anything good or bad about them? |

Their portfolio isn't THAT impressive. Some of the sites I looked at were broken in Firefox, they're also using out dated and invalid code..
But aside from that, I'm willing to bet that these guys have never touched vBulletin software in their whole life. They'll say, "Sure, we can do that!" and the end product will be horrible because they don't know what they're doing in there. It may function, and it may work.. but I'd be willing to bet that it would be done very impractical. My two cents. |

Hello Sir,
I am from Script2Please.com I am not sure why will you speak about a given company without verifying its credentials? Is company-bashing a fashion with you? If it is, I feel sorry about it, because on several instances you will be proven wrong. And this is one. We are in this industry for 10 years now and have done thousands of websites. There might be couple of sites which does not render very well in Firefox, but how did you concluded that it was due to our poor craftsmanship? Anyways, you are right that we are not the right company for vBulletin work and we will NEVER say "yes" to someone. Thank you for your insight. But I will appreciate that if you do not feel right about something, you must contact and verify, instead of just publishing criticism based on what "you feel" My message is not intended to hurt you, but just to let you know that all companies are not the same and there is more work than company-bashing. Thank you. Regards Abhishek Rungta |

talash,
I disagree. I don't feel that I "bashed" your company in any way. The only thing that I said that would be taken as "bashing" was when I stated that some of the sites in your portfolio were broken, and not using valid code. But if that's fact, it's not bashing. I was simply letting him know that I wasn't impressed with it. There's a lot more to websites than just a pretty face. I never mentioned anything about poor craftsmanship, but in my opinion, a good craftsman would develop results that work in all browsers, and stay up to date with web standards. You are, after all, a web company. But I didn't bring that up, you did. So it turns out I was right about everything except that you would say, "Yes, we can do that!" when you actually can't. My mistake. I've seen that happen just about 95% of the time, so I felt I was safe to assume it true in this case too. But no, I won't contact and verify with a company just to answer a question on here if I didn't feel right about it. Who would? It's merely my opinion and I thought I made that clear by adding "My two cents" to the end of my post. |

Hi,
Thank you for clarifying. Just to clarify further that many times once the site is delivered, our clients do modify the sites using local companies or try their own hand at that. And any web design company cannot guarantee the quality after the handover has taken place unless they are managing the sites. Thank you for coming up and discussing things. I might be too harsh in my response, Sorry about that. But all is well that ends well. Regards Abhishek |

The biggest creative agency in the UK with over a 100 employees doesn't even have that website per day ratio. On top of that most company growth is exponential so it would have started off slower than your current websites p/day figure, and then reached where it is now. Do you mean to say that at one stage of your business you were producing more than 1 website per day? This is not company bashing, but if you are going to make claims in public about the quality of your services, which the forum kindly lets you do in response to an existing thread, try and make them accurate |
