Registered Users Sending PMs
I apologize if this has already been answered. I did a search and could not find anything exactly on point.
I've set up my Registered Users to not be able to use the PMs by setting the Maximum Stored Messages to 0. For the most part, this has worked and people have not been able to send PMs until they hit the first promotion level, which is 25 posts. However, I have had 2 people in the last week who had 0 posts be able to send PMs. One was not a big deal because she was PMing a mod for help. However, the other was a big spammer. Are there any known issues that can be exploited either accidentally or on purpose to get around the posting requirement? |

This *may* be a bug in vBulletin, but to make sure, disable your modifications to see if it still happens.
