Memberinfo question

In the memberinfo template, i have edited the visitormessage, and i want a profile field to show depending on the user who has posted a comment for e.g.

i have a profile field which has the users name inside

i then want to display this in the visitormessage template. The only thing is i have tried all the variables possible and im confused now i have tried the following:

$post = nothing happens
$message = Nothing happens
$userinfo = Displays only the users field only no one else's
$bbuserinfo = Displays only mine
