Hello
what is the best http server on which i can install a forum that is expected to get about 300/500 concerted users at once i want a http server that is better than apache , faster , less cpu and ram please advise |

lightpd is a good one but apache setup properly can more then handle your needs too!

Yes vBulletin should be able to run on any webserver that supports the minimum version of PHP.

Apache 2 is good, but LiteSpeed enterprise is quite a lot better. id go with apache first tho

From experience Apache will work very well, but Lighttpd will work too. I have just used apache more so I can talk about it more.
