New Project Site

New project site. I started to steer away from a gfx website into a support website since that's what I am better at. It is on beta 5 so I think the skin I have works well for now but I want to grab some other opinions I am trying to keep it simple mod wise but yet gather mods that will make it easier for members.. I also trying to get Vbseo and Gars for it well anyways check it out and let me know what needs improvement. I know for sure that the banner needs a bit of improvement I have made like 10 banners for it and none seem to fit.

Yes your banner defiantly needs work
The skin looks simple and clean but most importantly - nice
At the top(the header), your taking up too much space for such a small banner with a small advertisement
Your cmps(vbadvanced) looks nice
Your forum catches my attention
Id say youve done a pretty good job on the website without the banner being there lol

You could just pay someone like $20-30 to do the banner for you, and Im sure they will come up with a very good job if youd like

Well, with that being said...
Id give your site a rating of about 8 out of 10
Thats pretty good if you ask me,

Awesome thank you I might look into that I mean I can make gaming banners really nice ones with gimp but the ones I am trying to make look professional are not coming out right lol.. I might look into having someone create one for me. What would you think if I put ad's in side bar?

Has anyone ever tried http://www.histats.com ? I just registered on them so see what they are about.

heres a tip my friend,
before u register on a site that looks like it can help you out in some way
go to www.alexa.com then click on Traffic Rankings at the very top navbar
then put in the address of the website you think is good to register with or try out

it will give you the ranking of the website..
any website that has a rating like this --> xxx,xxx (6 digits)
is a good website to follow with

Ive checked your website out(the one u registered with) "http://www.histats.com"
and it has a rating of "4,108" which means that website is trustworthy and good to go with

hehe just a tip

and yeah you should add some ads on the sidebar, it would look professional but dont add too much because you have one on the top too

Awesome! Thanks for that tip and the help. For the ad's I was meaning take them out of the header and just add them to the side bar which might make room for a nice banner thoughts?

And hey thats actually a good idea
or you could do this,
you could make a nice banner that fits half way through to the forum and then the other half on the right side, you could put your member's login
and u can have your ads on the sidebar

I tried so many ways to code in a members login on my old site and I was not successful I think I even made a topic here asking if anyone had any idea's but it was lost after a few days and even tried googling how to do it.. But I was trying to put the complete Welcome block from the navbar to the header. I eventually gave up on it after a few days of rewriting the code and trying to get it to fit. But that's what I want to do.

Update: By god I have done it! haha now what do I put in the navbar..

I am working on a code that will go in the welcome box to show the avatar next to it lol.
