If you find a lot of v32 games are no longer working or scores aren't submitted and you know that they used to work, take a look at your gamedata folder! I had installed a bunch of new games and if you add some particular v32 games, the install will work but ALL of the previous folders inside your gamedata folder will be deleted.
I discovered that when you automatically batch install a bunch of v32 games, all of the gamedata folders for the new games are properly added so you don't have to add them one at a time, but as noted earlier, any existing gamedata folders will be deleted during the install process by some v32 games. The renaming of the gamedata folder prior to installing the v32 games works great!
Back Up Your gamedata folder!!!!
1) Rename your gamedata folder on the server to anything else (ie:gamedatatemp)
2) Create a new gamedata folder and set permissions to 777
3) Upload your v32 tar files to the tar folder
4) Install the new games
5) Move the newly created folders from your gamedata folder into the old one (gamedatatemp)
6) Rename or delete your new gamedata folder, it should be empty!
7) Rename your old gamedata folder (gamedatatemp) back to gamedata.
Hope that makes sense, this is quite painless and you don't need to re-upload a backup of the gamedata contents.

Thanks for that information, will verify this and try to reproduce this error on my site.
As soon I found it, I will fix it...
Do you want to beta-test v2.6.7+ having such fix inside (when done) ?
** edit**
tested it using three TAR games (v32) and could not reproduce this.
Please contact me via PM so we can exchange mailaddresses and you can send me your TARs that did the error and an exact instruction how to reproduce this, thanks alot
Thanks very much for the Arcade MrZeropage, this problem was driving me nutso for quite awhile. I'm preparing my files for another test and will send you a PM when it's ready.
I see this issue long time ago for all the versions, just wonder why no one mentioned it...thank you ChicagoCoin for the tip...it works quite good but still its a painfull if you install only one or a few games, need to rename and move back the new datagame file all the time...
I've been trying to reproduce this problem and have been unsuccessful after installing, deleting and re-installing 9 new v32 games.
I can mention that my gamedata folders contents were deleted on 2 prior occasions after installing v32 games but both of these times i installed over 100 games at a time, perhaps it's just an error caused with certain v32 tar files?

It just happened to me again. I installed approximately 10 games from the aforementioned game site and poof went the gamedata folder. I always know when it poofs because I get the "set CHMOD to 0777" error when trying to install a new game. I moved my backup gamedata folder and back in business. Unfortunately I have no idea which game caused the problem. It makes me apprehensive to install new games because it takes an hour or so to make a new backup gamedata folder. This mod is still my favorite but it definitely has a glitch for installing v32 games.
