That is what I get starting tonight... when you either go to refresh, mark a forum read, etc. Then once you refresh things are okay.
What does this mean exactly.. and does it mean if I don't fix it, something will make my forums not work??

Have you tried to do what is suggested in 2 - to rebuild the bitfields?

Upload tools.php to your admincp from the do_not_upload folder from your vbulletin, run the script from a url as so and then enter your customer number to proceed.

yoursite.com/forums/admincp/tools.php

Delete the file after you run the rebuild for the bit fields.
