Default Ecommerce software
Okay, so I did a google search for Ecommerce software, and realized there is a buttload of them.

So do any of you guys use or have a favorite? looking for php based easy to use, maybe even open source to keep cost down.

After vBulletin the most exciting program to use for me is oSCommerce...
Lots of mods=contributions and lots of possibilities

cool that what I was looking for something similar to vbulletin's install base and active user/mod base. I'll check it out

There's an integration for vBulletin & oSCommerce here in vB.org but they don't share Users' dB [which I believe is good] but they have a big supporting community

cool.. I'm having problems getting osCommerce to even run. I've been posting on their site, but not much help yet.

can't log into my admin page, it just keeps reloading the logon page over and over. there are other people having the same issue, but noone seems to know the answer.

oscommerce is complete garbage. spend the money for x-cart. it's worth the investment.

well the support I've received, or haven't received for that matter, is starting to convince me that maybe I should purchase something...

x-cart. its a lot less expensive than Miva, and its highly scalable. I've bridged x-cart and vbulletin a few times already.
