Paid Subscriptions & More
New user here. I am setting up vBulletin for the first time and need help wading through details. The entire site will require paid subscription through PayPal for every registered user (except moderators, admin). The only other class of user will be those who have paid for product through an affiliated website and are entitled to visit the forums free. (I don't want registered users (paid subscribers) to have access to a particular forum set aside for product support.) How do I accomplish these tasks, and in what order?
When unregistered viewers view the first visit page, when they click on "enroll/register", how do I redirect to a page listing subscription options and registration info? Likewise, when they submit the registration and payment info, how do I set up automated e-mail confirmation of the payment and login details? Please be patient with me! I'm very grateful for the help. Thanks, Bill |

1. admincp --> forum permissions --> edit forum, you can use this to limit groups to view/post/search etc
2. Some of the things you are asking for here aren't part of the default vbulletin, i would suggest reading the users manual at vbulletin.com in the members area. Some things you can do with profile fields, the other stuff would need to be custom coded. |
