plain, pale, no innovation at all... for me, this is just a work in progress... sorry if you base your work on this minimalist theme...
(and yes, this is my 2¢) |

I'm not liking the border against the blue gradients it's on the borderline of being bland and (as nexylias stated) lacks any inovation. I think I would also agree that I would put this down to a w.i.p. Try breaking the colours out a little and steer away from using all variations of blue for another colour that will complement the blues you have created throughout this style.
It always makes a big difference if you replace all the vbulletin stock images (esp on the index page) You'll be amazed what the visual difference would be by adding something custom and at the same time complementing to the style. Try implementing some light oranges whether it's in the way of links, images or a bit of both. By using 1 dominating colour this will only ensure that a style looks overly bland and somewhat mediocre only hindering the potential of any kind of style. In short, Use more colours (not to many) only enough so certain key areas are more distinguished and virsually more appealing. Going through the pages there are many stock vbulletin images on this style so my best advice is to change them for something visually more appealing and consistent with the theme of the style. Tweak the logo a little, give it a little more life and a little more prominence so people know a little better what your about. Also ensure you use the correct anti-aliasing on specific fonts (still referring to the logo). To me, the text looks awfully jaggy and of low quality which could otherwise be corrected by using the appropriate anti-alias setting. Anyway, with a few little tweaks and extra effort you could have a visually better looking style and by messing with the link colour settings could make a big difference. Goodluck with your style. |

Rather plain, but if you were just going for a slight variation on the stock theme, right on. One thing I'll add is that you need to antialias your logo a bit on the cursive part, it looks a bit blocky and sticks out.
