[ quote]|
Some vB forums, when you click the button with no text highlighted, you get this:
[ quote]|
That's not the default; the default seems to be this: [ quote]
| I asked the people who run a forum with the former example, and they have no idea why theirs works that way. On vBulletin.com, I was directed to ask this question here. I want mine to be the first example, with the cursor between the BB codes, so you can just paste text from the clipboard without moving the cursor. |

On my forums, it is as the first example - you click quote and your cursor is put inbetween the quote code. I'm on firefox. I just tested on Safari and it is the same way. I'm running 3.6.8. What version are you running and what browser?

The same, 3.6.8 and Firefox.

The cursor appears in the middle for me.

My vBulletin must have been made on a Friday, then.
Seriously, there has to be a reason why some are different. |

Have you changed anything in the quotes template? It's got me confused as I never even paid attention to how it worked until you posted this thread.

No, I haven't touched the quotes template. Maybe I should.
