Hello.
on simplemachines forum, moderators can simply double click the table cell of the thread title to edit it inline (without opening any pages). A "enter" is enough to save the new title.

is there something similar for vb 3.6.7?

If you have ajax enabled on your forum, then you can do the same thing.
