Please Answer Serially and Explain

1 I am now using phpbb3 Gold ... I want to move to vB ... Can i transfer to vB without any member and post loss .. I dont want to lose anything ... netheir post nor members ... Is it possible...

2 I heard about Impex ... what version of Impex is used to convert phpbb3 to vB latest version

3 Is installing mods/hacks easy in vB or its same as phpbb3 editing manually taking hours

4 Are all mods/hacks free of cost when i purchase a license

5 Are there free or premium vB templates ... if yes where can i get them ... some sites good ones

6 Is vB more stable and user friendly to use at phpbb3

Please answer all of them explaining .. I will go for owned license

1. See this. That is what ImpEx will import from your board. Passwords cannot be imported because of the different hashing algorithms used. Users will need to reset their passwords. It would be best to ask your members to check/update their emails before importing.

2. The latest version should be used. Make note that ImpEx can only import up to 3.6.8 PL2. ImpEx will be updated to import to 3.7 when it goes gold.

3. It is very easy. Most (if not all) modifications will not require file edits.

4. All the modifications that you see on this site are free when you have a valid license. There are paid modifications available around the web.

5. Styles can be found in our styles section. And as above, there are other sites on the web that have paid styles available.

6. That is for you to decide.
