Let Users moderate their own posts

Is there a modification which lets my user moderate their own posts? I want for a certain forums allow the thread-starter to choose which reply will be visible and which stay invisible to the other users. So it's similar to a guest book where you can choose which entry is visible, but I want that for "normal" threads.

Any ideas?
