Disk Space
Ok my forum is only a few weeks old,and i'm worried about my disk space i'm thinking about upgrading because i'm just on a basic package but already i've used 142mb out of my 300mb
is this normal? its going up by like 5 or 10 mb everyday..i don't understand that. |

There are many reasons you could be using more disk space daily, if you allow images in posts as attachments that can cause it, if you have users storing a lot old PM's that could also cause it, if your using post cache, that will also cause it.
300mb isnt a whole lot of space anyways. |

Yeah i'm going to upgrade anyway.Just a bit worried and want to find out whats making it go up so fast.

post cache is not a reason why it would grow so high...
are you permitting attachments on your site?!.. if so, you can limit the size of files, or the number of them, etc.. |

No ones posted any attachments.
I had passivevid installed there was a few videos installed,ive removed that but its not made much any difference. |

Yes post cache, if your host counts your db size as part of your disk space, post cache will also be accountable for your db growing larger daily.
I never stated it accounts for all of your growth of disk space, but post cache does count regardless of what was said by the other poster. |

You first need to find out what is using up all your disk space before doing anything else.
