How much should I pay for a skin (style)?
I need a skin for my 3.7.0 Beta 3. Maybe I should first buy a nice skin and then pay someone to make it work with 3.7, plus a few tweaks? I would like to run it as a contest ideally, so that I have some options to choose from, but then it costs me more, doesn't it? I'm going to need additional skins for my other forums anyway, but I hate to be paying for a skin I don't really like. Suggestions, please. TIA.

The header and footer templates are different between vb3.6.8 and vb3.7. Some of the board functions may not work correctly if you use a 3.6.8 skin with vb3.7. It all depends on the skin, and how much work was put into it. If it is just css changes, and no extra code, it will work.

you can always start a paid contest on sitepoint.com, they have a pretty large bank of vbulletin designers on that site... and the styles suggested are good. affortable.
