Hello and greetings from Portugal.
The case is that i intend to set in the board i manage the obligation, to all new users, to first create a presentation post before they can see the all board. Even being a user for more than 2 years now, i do not know how this is done, so please help me if you can. I think you get the general idea, sorry for the bad english. Thank's in advance, KK |

You can download a mod/hack here of statistics of your forums on your actual homepage, and then you just click on your forums to be taken to your forums.
You can also set up your own page anyway you want by creating an index page in Microsoft Word (that is what I use) and saving it as a web page and uploading it to your public_html rout, make sure you have a link/hyper link directed to your forums though. Hope that helped. |

Hum,
Do not know if whe are talking about the same, but here is what i want : Imagine a board with 10 forums. - Welcome and Rules - Off-Topics - Bla Bla ... etc.. So, what i need is some kind of trick or tool that makes the new members to see just the Welcome and Rules forum, and only after they post a presentation post there they will be able to see the other forums, i.e., Off-Topics, Bla Bla, etc.. Hope this explains the problem. Regard's, KK |

You can do that with usergroup permissions and promotions. Have a read of the manual on them.
