how to change the style chooser with images

i want users to change the style by pressing small images that i put to them not by the drop down menu , the problem is if image is pressed so i will redirect to the forum index ,so if I'm in a post i will go to the forum index i want to only change the style without redirect to index as if i do that with the drop down menu
