Default New PC - Need Help
I'm about to build a new PC.

I've compiled this list. Does anyone have any suggestions, or see anything that is incompatible?

Should I get two 8800GTS's (512MB) or one 8800GTS (768MB)?

And did I miss anything? Because I need everything except a monitor.

Is this computer mainly for gaming or work?

I checked everything out and it looks good to go.

I have the same quad core and it is a great system.

Nice setup.

Also consider:

- UPS (battery backup and surge protection)
- Multiple Hard Drives (system partition should be small and physically separated from your storage drives)

I've got a surge protector, but I'm not worried about a battery back up right now. Thanks though!

If your power ever goes off and your computer doesn't properly shut down you can damage your hardware. Just a friendly recommendation.

Well, guys over at Hard OCP have ripped this list to shreds. . Told me I was spending to much to run it on my 22" monitor. They have whittled it down to like 1.5k. I'll probably end up grabbing a UPS.
