After looking through most of the Board of the Month Noms and just clicking on links in member's signatures, there appears to be a lot of gaming forums. So, we obviously probably have a lot of gamers on here.

If you play games (any type from xbox to online gaming), which do you play and which are your favorites?

Someone sent me a link to some sort of role playing game. I forget the name of it now b/c I only played for a short time, then got too busy to keep up with it. But you basically had little gangs that you belonged to, and you could buy all sorts of stuff like guns and houses and islands and such. If you aren't online constantly, you quickly fall behind and get attacked so I had to quit playing due to just not having the time to keep up with it. It was a lot of fun though, so I could see that I may have a potential gamer hiding inside somewhere

Are any of you into WOW? I hear a lot of talk about it but have yet to try it.

On that note, I saw (or rather, heard) this hilarious video about this kid getting told he can't play WOW anymore. *Example of true WOW addiction*

We actually have four WoW accounts in the family. They are for myself, my wife and my 16 year old son and 12 year old daughter. My stepson plays Toontown online because even though he is 12 years old, he is Autistic and doesn't communicate very well.

My wife and I also play City of Heroes/Villains on occasion and have accounts for that game as well. She plays several MUSHes as well. We also have an XBOX, PS2, and Gamecube in the house with various games and the kids each have a Nintendo DS.

World of Warcraft gets the most playtime though because we have met more people on that game and its very time consuming to get to the max level.

I find myself playing halo 3 and call of duty 4. Can't leave them though for other games because they are that good in my eyes. Though, I am hoping that I get Assassin's Creed, Rock Band, and a few sports games. I have the 360.

Lately (this last week) I have been playing Counter Strike: Source with my new PC. It's fun and frustrating at the same time, I'm not in the same league most folks that play are.

I got The Orange Box and I'm preparing to play Half-Life 2, I had a problem with the AI not working and the Steam Support Team told me to add a couple of lines to my config.cfg file but I didn't test it yet. After I play around with HL2 I'm probably getting Bioshock, Call of Duty 4 and Unreal Tournament 3 to test my Geforce 8800 GTS.

On the MMORPG front, this year was WoW year for me. I got level a rogue level 70, but the hardcore content past that was too hardcore for my taste, and things started to get repetitive. I got Sword of The New World here but haven't started playing. What I'm really waiting for is Age of Conan, I played a lot of Anarchy Online which was also from Funcom and got level 211 on it.

I used to play Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. I stopped. I don't really have time for games anymore. I do always make the time to beat the new Metal Gear Solid games whenever they come out.

And I play Super Smash Brother for gamecube every now and then. (Go Kirby!)
