Help with ModRewrite

Hello all

I am trying to make a rewrite for my website so when they try to edit something like a editsignature, editpassword, editprofile, and all the other extensions of profile.php to end up as /root/profile/edit/$

($ are the edits)

For example, if I wanted to edit a sig, it would be:

/root/profile/edit/signature

Thank you in advance . I have vbSEO, but I have not been able to find an article on doing this action on that software .
