eaccelerator or xcache · **Released**: 12-04-2007

At the moment we are running eaccelerator, but keep on hearing good things of xcache.

Which is the best and why?

Hopefully looking to improve server response and reduce page load times.

xcache, u can put vbulletins datastore into it.

I just installed eaccelerator last night... don't notice any difference.

That's a shame xCache have not x64 binarys.

Works but only with php 32 bit files. And i have everything 64 bit. That's a shame thei don't have 64bit.

I would say XCache. Stable and fast, never had a problem with it. I use it along with lighttpd.
