Is it possible to ensure 1 forum's threads do not show up in the "New Posts" calculation?
Is there a setting i am forgetting, where to shut off a specific forum for the new posts listing? --------------- Added [DATE]1195359382[/DATE] at [TIME]1195359382[/TIME] --------------- Nobody can help? |

Edit the forum in the "forum manager" and select the following to NO.
Index New Posts in Search Engine (Setting this to 'No' will prevent anyone from being able to search in this forum) |

So doing that will take ONLY those threads in that 1 forum OUT of the search info that is returned and listed? So ppl can view all other forums "new posts" but not that 1? no matter ho wmany times someone bumps the thread?

Doing that will also make the posts in that forum un-searchable.

--------------- Added [DATE]1195540694[/DATE] at [TIME]1195540694[/TIME] --------------- This setting change did not work. I am still seeing bumped threads in the "New Posts" index searches even when the flag is to "No". |
