A simple question here. What is the difference between fluid and fixed styles?

I have seen it a lot in the past and I've never had anyone explain it to me. So can you please define this for me. Thank you.

fluid will stretch all the way to the edged, fixed is a fixed width like the default vb.org style.

Fixed style can vary, I would say anything not close to the edge
With my 22" monitor everything is fluid lol

In regards to Fluid, are you stating that it will affect the BG or the forum tables? Or both?

I am still trying to find a solution for my "sky" background on my forums of which the background tiles on big monitors. But I don't necessarily think I want the forum tables to spread all the way across a 19'' monitor for example as that is awfully wide.
