When a new member registers and tries to post before getting or replying to their email conf., they get a message stating
"You have been banned for the following reason:
No reason was specified.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never"
How can I change this? New registrations think they are banned when they are not.

You might want to check the permission in the usergroup they are put in after they register but before they validate (the Users Awaiting Confirmation usergroup?).

"This Usergroup is not a 'Banned' Group " as yes. :erm:
