Modification to receive email notification of a moderated thread?

I there a way that specified userids can get an email stating that there is a post or thread awaiting moderation?

Amazing... I see dozens of requests for this capability, vBulletin Support say "it's not supported" and it's STILL not available as a VB feature!

What's up with that? Whey aren't you listening to your customers, VB?
