Blog background: some dead white space

I recently installed the blog addon for my forums, and I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely/easily it incorporated my existing theme. It wasn't perfect, however. I did have to copy a few missing icons over, which was easy enough. There's one problem left that I don't know how to solve. Around certain tables, the background wallpaper is missing. The usual tan texture doesn't seem to reach a few locations. I assume these blog locations simply don't have a counterpart in the forums. I have no experience with style creation. I don't know where to begin to look templatewise in terms of fixing this. If it'll help, here's one of the pages that shows the problem: http://www.buchisdma.com/forums/blog.php .
