Unfortunately, you won't get much help with comprehensive template mods. Bad for business (designers who depend on income for these edits); and simply because template modding is a PITA (why template requests can go unanswered).
But by looking at the pic, looks like they removed the other calls and reformatted the tables. You can experiment with the forumdisplay and threadbit templates to achieve that effect (removing trs/rearranging tds). Be warned with one thing though: removing a called function from a template can cause errors (unseen to the user), but will hit performance, as the call still goes through and will get a "caller not home" answer (your server error log will get hit by many error entries). True edit like that would remove the function from the associated php file, but that will be rewritten on any version upgrade, and would require the same modding for each software update. Modding for vBulletin has many potentials, but unfortunately with updates, modding hardcode requires version maintenance. Something to really consider when the modding is more than just adding/removing tables and add/remove CSS tags. |
