2 questions
1. Our forums restricts how many smilies a person can use in any post on the forum. i.e. when making a post we are limited to 4 smilies in that post. is there a way to change that?
One other thing is, with the editor (as in the same as i am typing in currently) how do you change the color scheme of it. Currently it has this odd coloration that i cannot seem to be able to fix. I may be just changing the wrong settings however i am lost...I attached an image of what i am talking about. it is mainly with the upper portion of the editor where you can change fonts, sizes, font color....etc. we are running Version 3.6.8 patch1 Thanks much -Jason www.cityofpain.net' |

1. Admin CP --> vBulletin Options --> vBulletin Options --> Message Posting & Editing Options find towards the bottom "Maximum Images Per Post" and define your image limit.
2. Admin CP --> Styles & Templates --> Style Manager --> All Style Options (pick your style) --> Toolbar Menu Options then in the first left text box area "background" change the color value. |

all that is in this section is the available fonts and sizes. i may be looking in the wrong spot however that is all that is available in the toolbar menu area.

For #2 in the first section "Editor buttons in normal state" the background is what you want to edit. That will change the background color of the editor template (as shown in your attachment) where you have font, size, color, smilies and so forth. Unless I've misunderstood what you mean. It happens.

Well I went through those settings, and yet after playing with them again i get the same result. This is where the upper right hand section has issues with the buttons. they are all still black in color and difficult to see. i will add another screen shot of what still remains the same.

You've seem to have changed the background as I see the difference in attachment 1 and 2. I apologize but I'm still not sure what you mean. So, go to vBulletin Manual and at the left navigation search type in "Color Map Reference". In your search results click "Color Map Reference" and in the category select "New Thread Template".
I hope that helps. |
