'Search for a staff post' in threads
I think this could be a nice implementation for this forum. When you're in a thread, you can click on 'Search for a staff post' and you are redirected to the search.php page, in which you can see if a staff member has posted on that thread. I think this could be helpfull for mods threads.. where, sometimes, you need to see an official reply before you completely decide to install the modification or not.

I haven't seen any moderators here give an "official " reply in mod threads saying they are "okay". Also, why would you take their word, over mine or any of the other experienced people here. The moderators are not superhuman beings that can instantly tell whether a modification is safe/efficient etc. or not. They don't sit around in front of their screens all day ploughing through modifications source code to look for vulnerabilities and errors. If you want to install a modification, do it at your own risk

As Dean says - we do not post 'official' replies in modifications to endose them - about the only time we would normally post in a thread officially is to warn members if a problem or exploit existed, and that would generally mean the modification is withdrawn anyway, so you wouldn't be able to download it.
