Two little changes

Could you make my username in the header clickable, so I can get to my profile fairly easily (without having to use the user cp dropdown. Also would it be possible to underline this new link as well as the unread messages one. It's not very user-friendly to the user as you can't see which parts of the "Welcome, Dean C. You have 0 unread messages; Total 495. " are links

Actually, just the 'unread messages' part is the link.

I don't see any issue myself in making the username a link.

I can't see any need for them to be underlined, I think its fine as it is.

Because links should have a different visual look from standard text, so a user knows where to click.

I'd 2nd both I wouldn't mind a hover effect at least.

Just something to say its a link other then a cursor change.

It's usability 101 really. A hover state isn't sufficient as the user would have to be randomnly hovering, looking for a link, instead of knowing where it is

Currently the "Unread Messages" blends in with everything else and doesn't set itself apart to tell people it's a link to private messages.
